Liberty One Piece

Liberty One Piece transforms Policarpa Salavarrieta’s story as a clandestine messenger into a swimwear piece conceived as wearable art.

The doves and letter were originally illustrated for the collection and transferred onto the fabric through sublimation, turning the garment into a canvas. Sublimated mesh sleeves carry writing inspired by her letters, while delicate lace-like details along the neckline and cuffs add an artisanal finish inspired by the period.

Its silhouette tells the story of her duality: a restrained front contrasts with a deeply open back — a reflection of the discretion she showed publicly and the information she carried in secret.
